Ivy Dene was registered as a residential service for adults with learning disabilities in November 2001. It provides care and support to 10 individuals and is of a mixed occupancy.

On the ground floor there are 5 furnished bedrooms (providing ground floor accommodation) including wash basins, bathroom and walk in shower room.

There is a large equipped kitchen, a large lounge area with a conservatory extension, a dining room, a separate sitting / activities room and 3 toilets.

There is a large private garden to the rear of the home which also has a seating area and a barbeques.

There is a drive to the front of the home for off road parking.

To the rear of the property there is large garden with a conservatory, seating areas and plots where people grow their own vegetables. In the summer months is used to accommodate barbeques, outdoor activities or spending time with families. The location of the home enables people to walk to the local shops or access the bus service where people can travel to Pontefract, Castleford or even further afield. The home also offers ample parking spaces.
