Ivy Care are recruited for an Assistant Manager at our Ivy Cottage service in North Featherstone, offering a competitive salary of £30,000 and Monday-Friday working hours.
About the role:
· You will be a hands-on, visible and approachable leader
· Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
· A key part of this role is leading the Ivy Cottage staff team: motivating, inspiring and coaching them to be the best they can be to be able to offer the best quality support possible to the people we support
· Lead supervisions, develop risk assessments and produce person-centred plans
· Create and oversee staff rotas to meet the needs of the people we support
· Occasional shifts will be required to stay connected with the people we support and their needs. You will also join the management on-call rota, so a driving licence and car are essential.
About you
· You should have strong experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and other complex needs
· Be a positive and confident manager who can lead by example
· Hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ level 5
· Be passionate about making a meaningful difference to the standards of the service and the lives of the people we support
About Ivy Cottage
Situated on our North Featherstone site are two buildings (Ivy Cottage and Ivy Croft) totalling 14 beds and supporting individuals with a variety of learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs.
